Current Obsessions

I was vacationing in Hawai’i two weeks ago and finally grabbed the Marc Jacobs brush no 15 in store. It’s been out of stock online at Sephora forever but has JUST restocked (available online now – three days ago). This brush goes hand in hand with Chanel’s Summer Bronzer Lumiere D ETE. It swivels like a dream and picks up just enough product I need. The bristles are dense and soft (in the right places) to spread the bronzer around, almost feeling like silk. The brush appears luxe but is light weight and without doubt, a current obsession.

MAC Cosmetics Duo Fibre Brush No 187

This brush is so versatile. Use with cream, use with powder, use it and be wowed. I use it more now with my Cargo HD blush/ highlighter in Pink Shimmer (previously posted a few days ago). The thing with duo fibre bristles is the flawlessness and subtle distribution of product it leaves. Without the right tools, makeup just would not appear the same. Of course having a good skin care routine beats that comment out but that’s another discussion. Without further digression, yes – these two babies paired together is makeup bliss. A good dupe of this brush is BdelliumTools no 955, yellow handle.

NARS ITA BRUSH

Oh my, this brush is distressed and has received plenty beatings! I have had this brush for more than a year – I have even purchased a back-up of it. Bristles are still intact. It still preforms quite lovely. I have been pairing this brush with the Bronze + Glow palette. L.O.V.I.N.G. IT!

PS – kinda loving my Hawai’i tan *winks*
