Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit

Hello All! I am absolutely sure that you have this product already and have seen more than plenty photos of this palette. I am not at all surprised at the size of this nifty EDIT of a palette. Key word: edit. Rest assured it is suppose to be this small as they are edited or smaller versions of an actual compact powder itself. I think it is quite cute! As some feel dismay about the size – I enjoy it. I really feel I may actual hit pan on my favorite shade in this palette: Iridescent Light. It is beautiful. I always wanted to purchase Luminous Bronze Light and was pleased to see it housed in this perfection-of-glow-palette.

Some photos and swatches for your viewing pleasure:

Second snap
Third snap attempting to capture it better for you
The closest I can get. Take a look at the sparkle in Luminous Bronze Light (bottom right). My favorite shade in the top row middle pan is Iridescent Light.
Swatches of the top row in (top to bottom) Dim Light, Iridescent Light, and Diffused Light. I did not blend them out but YOU need to – they’re impeccably fine and lightweight. They capture light in all the right ways.
Full swatches.
I picked up Iridescent Light and yes I did “oh la la” during this capture.
I blended Iridescent Light from what I picked up in the photo above this one. Between the V is where the product is. Loving it!

Have a good one, BB’s!

Xx, Gi

  1. I seriously love this palette! I use mine every day, it’s just so gorgeous and gives you the perfect glow. I do wish the pans were a little bigger but let’s be honest, a little goes a long way with these babies haha I can’t see myself hitting pan any time soon. Great blog btw (:

  2. I thought the same thing as you when I saw reviews about how small the powders are, considering most of us are never able to get through a regular-sized pan anyways. The one thing I would worry about is finding a face brush small enough to fit into one of the pans without touching the other shades.
