One Love Organics Easy Does It Foaming Cleanser and Skin Savior

Hello All!

Ohhh here’s a goodie! I have been using the two products pictured in this post for one week. My skin is changing with the seasons and I am so happily pleased I bumped into One Love Organics online. I have oily skin and a main concern of mine are skin care products that strip too much of my oils off thus causing even more oil production. With that said, I also feel better knowing products I use on my face that stay on over night is good for me (organic, cruelty-free).

Here is some info from One Love Organics online site:

  • One Love Organics’ products now proudly bear the ECOCERT seal, providing third-party assurance that our products’ origins and path from source to shelf are of the highest quality, certified organic and environmentally friendly
  •  One Love Organics is certified cruelty-free through PETA’s Beauty Without Bunnies Program
  • A green business showing leadership in their industry that go beyond product and service quality to set the highest standards in environmental sustainability and social justice

I purchased two of the trial-sized products pictured below:

  • SKIN SAVIOR is described as:
    • The ultimate multi-tasker, Skin Savior removes dirt and makeup without stripping the skin, moisturizes, illuminates and even turns mineral powder into a glowing foundation treatment. With an antioxidant-rich blend of organic coconut oil, mango butter, jojoba and chia, this citrus and vanilla treat is the perfect solution for just about any of your skin’s needs

Please mind the bolded words above mentioned.

Skin Savior indeed looks like a (lip) balm. I was first wary because of its texture – do I really apply this all over my face, over-night? YES. I feared breakouts (it did not happen). I do, however, feel like this product is difficult to apply because I am use to the typical moisturizer/ lotion-type lather. Within the past week, I have learned to place a good amount in the palm of one hand, rub both of my (clean) hands together and blot my face with the product then gently distribute the product with my fingers.
0.6 oz (trial size) retails for $19. Steep in price, yes. Worth it? YES.
2.25 oz Foaming cleanser retails for $9! Although this product reads “Foaming Cleanser” I do not get foam from it at all. Again, I am use to the typical white foam that immediately comes out of a pump. This product is tea-colored and does not dispense like foam, which is what I had imagined prior to receiving.
The first day I washed my face with this I instantly loved it. I wiped my makeup off with a pre-moistened towelette first and washed whatever remained on my face with this. My skin felt clean, invigorated! In combination with this and the Skin Savior Balm, I have noticed a brighter complexion. I have been sick with the flu for the past week too, but my skin looked pretty darn good if I do say so myself!
