Tarte Holidaze Stroke Of Midnight Brush Set Holiday 2015

Hi there! As much of a makeup junkie I am – I am a hardcore makeup brush junkie, too. Tarte Cosmetics has released a good looking holiday collection and as much as I want the entire set, I have opted for the brush collection this year.

The Stoke Of Midnight brush set is limited edition and contains five gorgeous gold handled tools. The brushes are lightweight and full size. I will use them tomorrow and update you on performance.

complexion brush

the buffer airbrush finish foundation brush

I couldn’t get over how cute this foundation brush is! This brush is said to be Tarte’s best-selling foundation brush and I am excited to use it

fluffy blush brush (I love this concept – the bristles feel as though it can be used as a fan brush, too) very feathery

concealer brush

eyeshadow brush

the brush set comes wrapped and in a very appealing sequenced makeup bag that you will see shortly. I do enjoy the pink inside this case

makeup case – sturdy; one way zipper with the Tarte logo in gold. I love it!

Thank you for reading and a warm welcome to my new subs!

Have a great night from LA!

Xx, Gigi

  1. I have a lovely set of MAC brushes already, but I’m looking for some foundation and face brushes that really ‘airbrush’ my complexion and leave no streaky bits – would you recommend these? And also, how much were they?

    1. Hi there! I LOVE MAC brushes – they are up there for me. I used the airbrush one from Tarte today + it did well. I typically use Bdellium Tools 957 brush – that one is my HG foundation brush. I think that the ‘airbrushed’ complexion can be achieved by blending you arm off (no pun intended). This brush set is $44. If you are looking for an affordable + good quality foundation brush I would recommend Bdellium tools. I have a review of the brush I’m talking about – just search Bdellium Tools in my blog.
