Hi there! There was a temporary halt in my Best Of 2015 beauty products due to the holiday season. As most of the products I have in store in sharing with you are permanently available – I will finish and continue accordingly throughout 2016 until completed! Here we are at my best of 2015 (5/20): Nugg Beauty Hydrating Face Mask, Anastasia Beverly Hills Banana Contour Powder, Clinique Step 3 Moisturizing Lotion, Make Up For Ever Hydrating Primer, Maybelline Luscious Mascara. It’s all about brightening and/or hydrating products I have been loving this winter (dry-skin) season!
Nügg Beauty Face Mask’s has been awarded Allure’s Best of Beauty for 2014 and 2015! My face has been thanking this mask on the nights I use this. My face feels kissed by the moisturizing heavens above and when I wake my skin continues to feel the generosity of its compliments. If you are suffering from winter damaged dry skin, please try this. Your face will thank you as will your wallet. This baby is wallet friendly as is its package: travel friendly. You can find these at most major retailers (I have seen them in Target stores now) or you can visit the site directly here for more details.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Powder in shade Banana has been a cult favorite of mine since its release in the original contour kit. I understand this product does not “work” for fair to light skin tones under the eye as it does for me. If you are medium skin tone and above – this shade sets foundation under the eye alone fantastically in my opinion. It cancels under eye discoloration for me and adds the brightness I ever-so-need when I am under the weather. I have been told “you don’t look sick” when I am in fact all sorts of funky! As you can see in the photo above I have created a MUFE palette of my ultimate under-eye brightener/ powder palette. These contour refills fit accordingly in MUFE eyeshadow palette pans. You can visit Macy’s here for more details on the Banana Powder refill. The empty MUFE palette retails for just one dollar at Sephora. You can click here to add to bag.
Clinique’s Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion has been a night time ritual I look forward to. I close my eyes, apply this on my face, and rub its goodness in delight. I am an oily skin girl but this cold weather has really knocked me into dry-mania. I look no further for thee product to help manage my temporary dry skin. The texture is thick, extremely moisturizing and perfect before bedtime to allow it to sink, drift into dreamland, work wonders over night, and wake without a dry problem. You can click here for more product details.
Make Up For Ever Hydrating Primer has on been a rather new product for me and has quickly become part of my best of 2015 – just in time! The occasional dry patches on my face have been reduced due to this primer before foundation application. It has indeed eased dehydrated areas on my cheeks and assisted my foundation to apply smoother in those problematic areas. I love it. You can click here for more info on the Sephora website.
Maybelline’s Luscious Lash Sensational is another fairly new product. I have compared two other Maybelline’s Mascaras here and a first impression here a few days earlier if you are interested in visiting those blog posts. The reason why this product has quickly become a favorite is due to its hydrating or “oil-infused” properties that I feel, has even made my lashes feel hydrated. No flakey or dry lashes here! You can visit Ulta here for more details.
Have a good one from LA!
Much love, Gi
