MAKE UP FOR EVER Artist Palette Volume 4 Shadows Swatches, First Impressions + Complete Look

Hi there! MAKE UP FOR EVER has released their forth edition, the Artist Palette 4 Shadows, housing nine all matte shades. I was excited to see a more cool-toned eyeshadow palette come out as everything has been very warm in color selection as of late. I also do not own any MUFE mattes and this was my chance to try them out. I dug into this palette right when it came to my door and I am pleased with its performance.

Above capture is a comparison between the Artist 3 and Artist 4 palettes. I can easily see both of these palettes complementing each other for future looks.Eyeshadow colors/ names:

  • M-100: Black
  • M-620: Grey Brown
  • M-126: Chalk
  • M-842: Wine
  • M-806: Antique Pink
  • M-546: Dark Purple Taupe
  • M-240: Prussian Blue
  • M-536: Milk Tea
  • M-530: EggshellAbove are swatches in direct sunlight.

The Artist Palettes come with a step-by-step guide on how to use the shadows as they are designed (but not restricted to) three eye looks. I decided to go with the “Romantic Look” in the Artist 4 guide which uses the center shadows in this palette (shades Wine, Antique Pink, and Dark Purple Taupe).

First Impressions: So far I am a fan of the blendability in these shadows. I think that if one does not own any of these mattes, this is a great value in one palette.

This palette retails for $44 dollars and you click here to visit Sephora directly for more details or purchase.

Much love, Gigi
