This product is a limited edition blush palette with a highlighter, blush, and contouring shades. The Dual Intensity cheek palette is described as an all-in-one cheek palette making it easy to pack and carry for travel (or kit). The highlighter, cheek, and contouring shades double up as wet or dry formulas that are formulated with Translucent Prismatic Technology – delivering multidimensional effects claiming seamless application for universally flattering looks. You will be seeing how I used this palette not only on my cheeks but on my eyelids and lips shortly.
In the captures above I used a mixture of shades Soft Tulle and Damask on the cheeks. Both of these shades picked up easily on a soft IT Cosmetics Blush Brush. I noticed that when I packed on more product, texture was accentuated on my skin. To soften and remove the affects I used a damp beauty sponge which helped to correct. I used a mixture of Peony and Damask on my lips atop NARS Gold Digger Lip Gloss. Shade Titian was used on my eyelids in conjunction with shadows from the Anastasia Renaissance Palette that I have been absolutely loving! Lashes are from Salon Perfect in style number 614. Foundation is the Urban Decay All Nighter in shade 5.0. The Contour palette used is from Elf Cosmetics – current fave and only $6!
At first use I had fun using the NARS palette as I think it is very versatile and not limited to cheek looks. The pigmentation and color selection housed in this to-go sized palette will remain on my vanity and be put to great use daily and with me to travel.
Much love, Gigi
